It is wonderful reading when you don't know what to expect and receive more than expected. Once I started reading "Life in the "Orient", there was no turning back until the last word was digested. It is the type of reading that insist you return and reread descriptions of the characters, interactions, "details" about everything, and question "oh my" did she take me there or what?
